Till The End of The Year, iOS Devices Can Become the Most Popular Gaming Platform, Analysts Predict

iOS devices influenced greatly on the mobile games market, and now more and more people give preference to playing with their iPhone and iPad, but not to waste money for pocket consoles from Sony and Nintendo purchasing.
Till the end of this year, the number of accounts registered in Game Center on iOS will surpass 200 millions what will make iOS the largest game platform ever, analysts expect.
According to the Apple statistics, there are 130 million accounts in Game Center, what means iOS devices are more popular than PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and Nintendo Wii. In fact, Apple mobile devices are the third gaming platform in the world.

Asymco analytical company predicts Game Center can reach 200 million customers level till the end of 2012, what helps Apple leave Nintendo DS behind. “No one gaming device before hasn’t got 200 million customers,” Asymco employees speak, “if you check OpenFeint, an exterior platform to play iOS games, more than 180 million customers are already there”.
Since, not all iOS customers use their gadgets for gaming, Game Center and OpenFeint are the most precise indicators of Apple being successful in the field of gaming devices, but not the number of sold devices.
