The Starmatic App: Give It A Try And You Will Fall In Love With This App

Instagram has occupied a place in hearts of photo apps addicts all over the world and wont leave without a fight. People are so into Instagram that they don’t really pay much of attention to other apps and they don't notice Intagram's flaws. However, they are some social photo-sharing apps that are as great as Instagram or dare I say, might be even better. I know, that it's not so easy to switch Instagram to another app, but at least give a try to a great photo app called Starmatic.
What is Starmatic?
The Starmatic app is fun, nice and it includes some of the greatest Intagram's features, while providing its own original features. The interface is elegant and pretty while navigation includes the use of handful and convenient gesture controls.

Getting stated Starmatic
To start using Starmatic you need to sign up with Facebook or Twitter account of you can create new Starmatic accoun using your email. Once you logged in, you will be moved to main screen that includes the feed of photos with the navigation bar at the left side of the screen. By managing navigation menu, you can view feed with photos, find photos taken near you (it it possible due to Starmatic’s location services), view your notifications and snap photos. Starmatic's feed will remind you of the latest Pinterest feed as photos are presented on the grid-like display. Photos vary in sizes and shapes; however users’ names and comments aren't shown near each photo.

Are there any cons?
The ability to look at photos taken at your location is great; however some issues can be improved. The Stamatic app makes it a little bit confusing to start following users. You have to come back to navigation menu and find there discover option. Only From there you can find new users to follow. I wish there was an ability to find users at the very beginning of Starmatic experience, it would be great if discover option was included to registration process.

Stunning feed filled with photos
The feed of photos is what makes Starmatic shine brightly. The combination of its great photos and multiple opportunities to discover photos shared by Starmatic users maker the feed the strongest feature of Starmatic. If you touch any photo of the feed, the app will bring up four options for social interaction - repost, like, comment or share to Facebook, Twitter or you can even send it via email. If you scroll down the screen menu bar with the same social interaction features will pop up at the bottom of the screen. You can also view a bigger picture by swiping you finger from right to left. In order to return to the previous menu- the grid like display, you need to tap the box icon at the upper right corner of the screen. Gesture controls, provide by Starmatic are fun and refreshing.

Uploading and sharing photos
To add photos to your Starmatic profile you need to tap the camera icon at the left sided navigation men. As usually, you can snap instant photo with the in-app camera or you can select existing photo from your iPhone libraries. After you took or uploaded photo, you can apply photo effects (filters) to the photo. The photo editing interface is similar to Intagram's. The photo filters are included in the filters bar at the Bolton of the screen. When you tap the effect you want to apply to your photo, your photo is presented on the screen. You can also regulate lightness and fade perspective by working with tools of the top menu bar. You can also purchase additional photo effects from the App Store. Once you selected photo effect, you can add tags, title and comments to your photo. The Starmatic app also allows you to share photo to Facebook and Twitter or send it via email. Photo effects aren’t the strongest feature of the Starmatic app, but they are fine and add some nice touches to your photos. The photo editing options are limited, which is similar to Instagram, however they are quite enough for social photo sharing app.
Conclusion
The Starmatic app is fun and easy. There is nothing revolution about it, but it can be a good alternative to Instagram. Responsive gesture controls, intuitive interface and sharing features make this app worth giving a try.
