The piracy problem force developers make their Android apps free

Many resources mentioned the fact that despite of the Android popularity, the developers see better perspectives in IOS apps creation. The reasons are very simple.
The first reason is that the platform is too fragmentary, which means, the developers need to spend a lot of time to make their apps being operational at all platforms. And the second one is the piracy, which is surely the main problem of all Android devices.
Madfinger Games company, the popular game Dead Trigger developer, in its blog complains to the situation happened. They wanted to make their game being popular thanks to an attractive price and in-game purchases cancellation, but because of the piracy they had no choice but to make their game free of charge.
“Here is our announcement about price reducing. The main reason is the extremely high level of piracy at all Android devices. Firstly we wanted to make our game being available for many people and that’s why it cost only a dollar. But, even with this price the level of piracy is so high, that we decided to make our game free.”
Dead Trigger is a first-person shooter which has become very popular thanks to good graphics and captivating gameplay. The price for it was only $1, but while iOS owners considered this price being rather attractive, Android users weren’t able to estimate developers’ generosity. And it won’t be strange that next time Midfinger Games decides not to produce a game for Google play but for App Store only.
