Walter Isaacson, the author of the Steve Jobs official biography, spoke with Don Graham, the member of the board of directors of Facebook at the Fortune Brainstorm: TECH conference. While speaking with journalists, they remembered Apple founder.

Graham mentioned that Steve Jobs impacted greatly Mark Zuckerberg – the Facebook general manager. Then he asked Isaacson how Steve treated the social network creator.

“Once I have asked Steve, whom of Silicon Valley “inhabitants” he respects, - Isaacson answered.  Steve called Mark. He appreciated Mark for his intuition and purposefulness, the ability to estimate what his company needs more now, for his readiness to leave everything old to continue living.  These moments Steve felt Mark his “twinsoul”.

We got to know that 28 years old billionaire respects Steve sincerely and follows his advices long time ago thanks to Isaacson. Earlier the biographer cited Jobs words about Zuckenberg.

“We speak about social networks in the plural. But I don’t see anything except Facebook. Only Facebook, they fully dominate in the world. I admire Mark Zuckenberg he didn’t sell his company and want to build a serious business. I really admire it, - Jobs told.”

Isaacson told what Jobs answered why Apple first social network “Ping” didn’t become popular. “It might be happen because Mark has done everything too perfect. We don’t need any other networks – Facebook has everything what we need.”

Steve Jobs – The Lost Interview: Now Available for Rent on iTunes

Steve Jobs – The Lost Interview is available for rent in the US iTunes Store. The highly acclaimed documentary features Steve Jobs being interviewed by Robert Cringely in 1995.

How about seeing a documentary on your iOS device? The one we mean features Steve Jobs talking about numerous things that mattered to him back in 1995. Produced and directed by an experienced director for television, Paul Sen, the film was released six month ago, and is now available for US-based iOS users.
The Interview was conducted by Robert X. Cringely, former Apple employee, who is now a tech journalist. He talks with Steve Jobs about many different things, including his views on success, the future of Apple (from back then) and NeXT, dreams and ideas, and many other things. Back in 1995, Steve Jobs was CEO of NeXT Computer and Pixar, but the potential of becoming one of the present-day icons could be seen in him from the first minute of the interview.

The documentary, which is a conversation of the two, has been lost for 17 years, and was restored from the videotape by Paul Sen and John Gau last year. This more than an hour-long footage was partly used for the series Triumph of the Nerds (by Paul Sen), with the rest being presumably lost.

“Candid, controversial and funny,” that’s how the documentary was described on the iTunes info page. It addresses many important topics which give the viewer an insight on Steve Jobs’ personality and his extremely innovative ideas. Being outstandingly inspiring and though-provoking, The Lost Interview has already received a lot of positive feedback from the viewers who have seen it in theatres or who were the first ones to rent it on iTunes.
