Hackers from AntiSec group possesses 12 million unique iOS IDs, which is what they claimed yesterday. This raises the issue of your iOS devices’ security. Still, it turns out that 12 million IDs mean little.

The story was that the file containing a list of IDs was obtained from the FBI, and it had information on 12,367,232 iOS devices. Because of the AtomicReferenceArray vulnerability on Java, some files have been downloaded from the desktop of Supervisor Special Agent of the New York FBI Office Evidence Response Team by the group of hackers. Among those files was a list of devices with information on devices, UDID, usernames, mobile numbers, and addresses.
