New information appeared today, Moving Picture Experts Group has presented the new format of video – UHDTV (Ultra High Definition Television). As you understood out of the title, it is supposed, while using H.265 the picture will compress better, and the quality will stay at the same level.

The point is, the new standard will allow improving video compression twice without appreciable quality losses.

Thanks to the new codec HEVC, the customers can get the two times less file size, in comparison with H.264, what will effects positively at the HD comfort work with.

Surely, the new format will spread a lot at mobile devices, as the customers of the 3G Internet will get the opportunity to watch video with comfort along with sharing of video files with each other.

It is expected, graphical processors and the appearance of this format in apps will start since 2013. Hence, Cult of Mac supposed, the fourth iPad generation will probably support this format, and with time all Apple devices will have the function of playing less qualitative, but more compressed video.
