iBlast Moki 2 HD: This Week in Featured Free App Store’s Games
A wonderfully cute puzzle game from Godzilab, iBlast Moki 2 HD is now featuring as “Apple’s free app of the week”. We are most happy with the editors’ choice: at the moment, we are rushing on our mission of rescuing little Mokis!

This game with the simple and cartoonish graphics is a real treat for all puzzle-lovers. iBlast Mokis 2 HD will make you smile, then think hard, and then cheer for the little creatures. The genre of puzzle adventures is great for iPhone games: they do not require some stunning 3D graphics or involvement of supernatural technology. Still, there are really rather little puzzle games to which one wants to return again and again. The current game is definitely one of them!
Price: $4.99 (This week FREE!)
Current Version: 1.1.1 (August 9, 2012)
Genre: Games, Puzzle games
Developer: Godzilab
System Required: iOS 4.0 or later
Rating (App Store): 4.5
What the Puzzle’s About
The Story. At the beginning of the game, you see a video explaining the situation: a villain Kimo raids the village of lovely Mokis on his zeppelin and kidnaps them in order to enslave the creatures. Although a hero pilot saves the creatures, they are scattered all around the world. Your task is to deliver them home using magical portals and bombs.
The Game. Although the controls are extremely intuitive, you need to adapt to them a bit. All you need to do in the game is to place a bomb, which will push a Moki or send him/her flying right at the Portal leading home. As you choose a bomb, you should place it with your finger near the creature. There is a wheel around the bomb: it controls time of the explosion: you will need it on the upper levels. As you press on the bomb with your finger, a red arrow shows you direction and force of your blow.
What to Expect. You should expect a lot of thinking in iBlast Moki. Although the gameplay is pretty simple, there are a lot of challenging levels, at which you will need to send multiple characters to the same Portal. Here, everything counts: the location of your bombs, the timer, the type of the bomb along with such additional tools as ropes or balloons.
What You Need. You will need a strategy at every level to complete it. Besides, you will need to use your creativity in a bonus part when creating levels on your own. The apps’ tool for level construction includes a special physics editor, which makes your levels playable and possible for you to make it through each of them.

Pros and Cons
Pros: wonderful graphics, lots of challenging puzzles, super cute characters, and, what’s more, a Level Creator!
Cons: you might find that there are too many trajectory-based puzzle games.
The game iBlast Moki 2 HD may remind you of any other puzzle game with a trajectory-based gameplay, starting from Angry Birds series of games (especially since Rovio are adding a level creator to it) and another cute game Early Bird, and continuing with the good old ones like Fragger, and many more.
