Feed Candy: The Game Cut The Rope Developers Have Overlooked
On August 22 the game called Feed Candy has appeared on the iTunes App Store. Right now, it is available for free after hanging on the store for several days in a Paid Games section. Wonder why? Take a look; it might remind you of some other game!

It is a mystery how games like this even appear in the iTunes store in the first place. Feed Candy is nothing but a good-quality copy ofCut the Rope. After the game was released some time ago, it cost $1.99, while the full version of the original game, Cut the Rope, was only $0.99. Did the gamers actually pay for it? The whole situation seems a bit weird. Probably, this was the reason why Wind of Tears have made their game available for free. While the future of the adorable Tooluba from Feed Candy remains uncertain right now, we will outline the game below.
Price: $1.99 (free for a limited time)
Current Version: 1.0 (August 22, 2012)
Genre: Games, Puzzle games
Developer: Wind of Tears
System Required: iOS 4.3 or later
Rating (App Store):
What’s in the Game
As it has been already said before, Feed Candy is a copy of Cut the Rope, not the Experiments part, but the first version of Chillingo’s hit. There is a cute little monster who loves striped candies and needs them constantly. So, you solve a number of puzzles in order to keep a cute monster called Tooluba (as it is called in this game) fed. You just cut the rope in certain places, so that the candy falls into Tooluba’s mouth.
What to Expect. One may expect new levels and completely original puzzles, but there is none of this here. The game promises a lot of challenges which you complete for the sake of your adorable pet monster. While Tooluba differs a bit from Om Nom (it has horns, for example, and is greyish instead of green), and the candy is of somewhat different color, everything is just the same as in the game by Chillingo. So, if you have played the first game of Cut the Rope series, you will be disappointed. What is good, the game is now free, so you won’t lose any money.
What Do People Say. The game hasn’t gone unnoticed. A comment on the iTunes app store says: “Get the original. Cut The Rope!! Don’t support these rip off artists. They should be sued!!!” and the gamers on forums don’t seem enthusiastic as well; “wow… it is… identical” is what some have said about Feed Candy. The features do not include anything original too.

Features
- Easy and full of challenges (a good thing is that 40 levels of challenges are for free)
- Realistic physics (which is not surprising)
- Elastic rope (isn’t this a feature in Cut the Rope?)
- Cute character (true, moreover, Tooluba is even as cute as Om Nom!)
- Free updates (sounds amazing, doesn’t it?)

I am surprised they are even selling it, what a blatant rip off of the game!
