Facebook speaks about Apple Progress

Since App Center in Facebook has started it become a sort of the “local app shop” within this social network. Recent days, in the context of the GDC Europe conference, the Facebook team shared statistics, to demonstrate how such platform successful is.

According to the Facebook representatives, the social network auditory is growing all the time (now it is 935 million) and that means the number of people playing with Facebook increasing too, what affects positively at developers profits.

Recently opened App Centre contributed too, as during last month 150 million customers used it, and moreover, 35% of customers, installed App Centre, enter it next day. Such statistics surely will be inresting to the app developers, who estimate App Store as the possible platform to promote their projects.

We must admit, App Center is not a competitor for App Store or Google Play, thou it is easy to find in the official Facebook account for these platforms. It is rather an additional search mechanism, and it has become a perfect place for Facebook customers, where they can find interesting games for them and their friends within FB.
